Lateral Epicondylitis (Tennis Elbow)

Lateral epicondylitis, commonly known as tennis elbow, is an inflammation of the forearm extensor tendons in the elbow region. It develops due to repetitive extension and rotational movements of the wrist and forearm, often seen in office workers, IT professionals, and racket sports players.

Tennis elbow is one of the most common overuse syndromes, causing pain on the outer side of the elbow, which may radiate into the forearm.

Symptoms

  • Pain on the outer elbow and hand region
  • Initially mild discomfort after activity, progressing to constant pain that may restrict all movement

Therapy Approach

At our clinic, we frequently treat tennis elbow using a combination of techniques to reduce inflammation and pain. Our therapy includes:

Manual therapy
 ✔ Electrotherapy (TENS, laser, ultrasound)
 ✔ Shockwave therapy

Once inflammation and pain subside, therapy shifts focus to targeted exercises that activate the forearm and hand muscles. This helps achieve full recovery and prevents recurrent pain.

Our therapy includes everything necessary for effective pain relief and long-term recovery!
