A very gentle manual scar technique that helps restore blood flow in the treated scar area, visibly reduces it, and restores sensation! At our center, we most commonly treat the following types of scars:
- Cesarean section scars,
- Hysterectomy scars,
- Mastectomy scars,
- Postoperative scars (e.g., hip surgery or carpal tunnel surgery scars),
- Laparoscopic surgical scars,
- Burn scars,
- Muscle tear scars.
C-SECTION AND MSTR
Caesarean section is one of the ten most common major surgical procedures. It is important to understand that a cesarean section does not only cut the skin, but also 7 different layers of the body – skin, fat, fascia, abdominal muscles, peritoneum, uterus and membranes, after which the baby is delivered. Although at first glance it seems like a “superficial” cut, it is actually very deep and affects our body in many ways.
In addition to physical factors, there are also numerous psychological factors associated with a cesarean scar, and the MSTR technique can help us in adequate treatment!
WHAT DO WE ACHIEVE WITH THE MSTR TECHNIQUE?
We perform the MSTR technique alone or in combination with manual medical lymphatic drainage and other manual techniques for the best and highest quality effect, and the treated scar area responds:
- By restoring sensation;
- By reducing pain;
- By changing color due to the reestablishment of circulation;
- By changing the size and appearance of the scar, making it less visible;
- By resolving various health problems at the site of the scar (limited movement, pain in a specific part of the body, gastrointestinal disorders, gynecological or urinary problems, etc.)
